El restaurante "CHOI. Dot'

Chef Choi Hyun-seok, who gained attention on the Netflix original show Chef en blanco y negro for his daring ingredient choices and unique cooking techniques! Although he had an unfortunate (yet hilarious) slip-up in the final when he served a garlic-free pasta, he impressed viewers with his skills and his fun chemistry with Chef Ahn Sung-jae. This only added to his appeal, showing off his relatable and human side.

With over 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Choi is a true culinary pioneer, especially known for bringing molecular gastronomy to the mainstream in Korea. His inventive approach makes him one of the most creative chefs in the Korean food scene.

Today, we’re diving into his restaurant, CHOI. (Choi Dot), where you can experience his one-of-a-kind creations.

🍴LunchCourse

The lunch course starts with light appetizers, moving on to seasonal pasta and seafood dishes. The main dish usually includes chicken or pork, cooked in various ways to keep things fresh and flavorful. And don’t miss the beautifully plated dessert that provides a sweet, delightful finish to the meal! Each dish is meticulously crafted, so even at a lower price, you’re getting top-notch quality.

🍴DinnerCourse

The dinner course spans 8 courses, using seasonal ingredients that change regularly, meaning there’s always something new to try with each visit. Every dish is presented with unique plating that’s a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate. Main options include lamb, Hanwoo sirloin, and lobster, with an additional charge for premium selections.

Chef Choi puts serious thought into making each dish visually exciting, ensuring you’ll experience flavors and presentations like no other restaurant. Previous menus included playful dishes like the “Synergy Bar,” inspired by energy bars, and “Chef Ham,” a gourmet twist on spam, earning rave reviews from food lovers!

🍷WinePairing

What’s a fine dining experience without wine? CHOI. Dot offers wine pairings with options for 2, 3, or 5 glasses, all chosen by the sommelier to enhance the flavor of each course. This pairing elevates the experience, so don’t miss out on this opportunity for a perfectly curated meal.

Chef Choi’s creative dishes and unique plating are totally Instagram-worthy, making this the ideal spot for special celebrations or memorable nights out. If you want to capture some amazing photos and create unforgettable memories, CHOI. Dot is a must-visit! 😀🥰
