[Black and White Chefs] Culinary Genius Chef Josajang at ‘Euljiro Boseok’

Netflix entertainment show “Black and White Chef: The War of Cooking Classes

Imagine a showdown where 80 underdog chefs dubbed ‘Black Spoons’ and 20 elite ‘White Spoon’ chefs from the top tier of South Korea’s culinary scene ditch their ranks for an epic cook-off.

This cooking survival show, featuring unexpected turns and tense moments framed within a unique mentor-mentee dynamic, has been gaining global popularity.

Despite being eliminated, Chef Josajang, a culinary genius in his twenties, has earned high praise from judge Baek Jong-won for his dishes that carry the deep, homely flavors reminiscent of a grandmother’s cooking. Today, I’m excited to introduce his restaurant, ‘Euljiro Boseok.’ Since appearing on TV, securing a reservation has become an even more daunting task—I tried and failed to get one myself but promise to bring you a review next time.
