A Culinary Class Wars, Touch the Sky, Chef Eun-Joo Jo

Dining at Touch the Sky (head chef Eun-Joo Jo) with Netflix “A Culinary Class Wars”

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Touch the Sky, a modern French dining restaurant located on the 59th floor of the iconic 63 Building in Seoul.
This restaurant is led by none other than Chef Eun-Joo Jo, the head chef who gained widespread popularity on Netflix’s cooking competition show, Culinary Class Wars. Known for her exceptional culinary skills, calm demeanor, and warm smile, Chef Jo has impressed food lovers worldwide.

.

.

Touch the Sky offers:

  • A breathtaking view of the Han River.
  • Private rooms tailored for special occasions.
  • A refined, modern French dining experience.

.

Chef Eun-Joo Jo’s resume is nothing short of extraordinary. She made headlines as the first female chef to win two gold medals at the FHA Culinary Challenge, one of the world’s top three culinary competitions, alongside the Luxembourg Culinary World Cup. Fans were also captivated by her leadership and charm during her Netflix appearance.

.

We opted for lunch and chose the basic LA TERRE course.

My Impressions

The 59th-floor view over the Han River is stunning, and the private room provided a quiet and comfortable dining experience. This setting makes it ideal for important meetings or even a romantic proposal. However, with Chef Eun-Joo Jo’s rising popularity, I anticipate it might become increasingly difficult to secure a reservation here.
