Guess what? There’s a hotel that sold out within just four days on Airbnb, catching everyone’s attention and interest. It’s called ‘Sky Suite,’ and it’s literally floating above the Han River!
I was lucky enough to snag a reservation amidst the fierce competition and checked it out myself. Since it’s brand new and doesn’t have many reviews yet, you might be curious about it. So, let’s dive into the details together!
🏨 Sky Suite Hotel 🏨
Sky Suite Hotel is the only hotel in Korea built on a bridge over the Han River in Seoul. It used to be a café on the bridge, and now it’s been transformed into this amazing hotel.
If you go to the right, you can enter via the stairs, and if you go to the left, there’s an elevator. Since stairs are tiring, let’s take the elevator~!
The first floor has access to the Han River Park and parking lot, the second floor is where the Han River Bridge is, and you take an elevator to get to the third floor. But, the third-floor button only works if you enter the password sent by Airbnb.
The elevator opens directly into the suite, and as soon as the door opens, you’re greeted by a stunning mid-century modern interior. It’s a real “wow” moment!
The room spans about 144.13㎡ and includes a bedroom, living room, bathroom, and a small kitchen.
The kitchen is stocked with free coffee, utensils, an induction cooker, cutting boards, pots, chopsticks, knives, and even a bottle opener. You can cook a simple meal, but honestly, I’d probably just order in or eat out. Haha.

This gorgeous audio system caught my eye. It’s an LP player worth a few thousand dollars (yikes!). Playing music on this high-end LP player really sets the mood. There are plenty of LP records available, so you can choose your favorite tunes.
With the living room already winning me over, I was super excited to see the main attraction—the bedroom!
Tada~! The bedroom has a huge window on the south side, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Han River, stretching from Nodeul Island to Yeouido.
At sunset, you can witness the breathtaking sky coral hues, and at night, the river view transforms into a mesmerizing nightscape. It’s a perfect spot for a dreamy proposal.
In Korea, every October, the ‘Seoul International Fireworks Festival’ is held. If you watch the fireworks festival from here, with the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, you would have an amazing view of the spectacular fireworks display. The competition for the best viewing spots is likely to be very intense.
The bathroom is really sophisticated, isn’t it? With warm water flowing generously and the view of the Han River through the floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoying a relaxing bath here seems perfect.
